Icing Magnetix Nameless Blue

Recently I picked up a bunch of different Magnetic Polishes, and I've been having a blast playing with them. Strangely enough, so has my hubby! Last night we sat down and did Semi-Matching Magnetic Manis. What fun!

Since I have been wearing nothing but Pinks for over a week now, I decided that it was time to wear a blue. You guys  know how much I love blue polish, right? I hadn't played with my Icing Magnetix yet, so I decided to wear their Nameless Blue magnetic polish using the Wavy design. I had a very hard time capturing her in pics, since the blue shifts into a dark blue/purple and the light was playing off my nails in a BIG way.

This is 2 coats of Nameless Blue over Instant Artificials Base Coat and topped with SV:

Isn't she gorgeous? I love the color variations and the subtle shimmer in this girl.

Application was pretty easy, although I found it to be a bit watery on the first coat. It's also a bit of a stainer so load up on your base coat! The magnet is also very finicky, too much or not enough polish and your design will barely show. As with the China Glaze magnet, this one wouldn't pull the design on the edges of my nails since I have such a pronounced C-Curve. I'm starting to accept that the designs will only show on the center of my nail, and it still looks pretty darn cool, so I can't whine too much.

You can find these babies at your local Icing store, retailing at $9

Hope you're all having a fantastic weekend!

Happy Polishing!
