**EDIT** The Cure Starts Now is back in stock at LacAttack.com!!!!!!!!!!
Hello Lovelies! Man! It is really hard to get posts up these days. Dex just does not want me to do anything that doesn't involve him and if I try? He turns into the worst child on earth. I swatch at night, so unless I give up sleep, I have no other time to post. It's seriously driving me a bit crazy. Somehow, I will figure this out.
I have a bunch of stuff coming up including more Indies (you expected that though!) and my giveaway! I was planning on launching the giveaway today, but I haven't had time to take pics of everything. I'll be doing that tonight, as well as photographing my Mish Mash Challenge mani. And swatching. All while ingesting insane amounts of coffee.
Right now I have a little something from Lac Attack to share with you all. First of all, can I just say how honored I am to be able to swatch Lac Attack? I'm always thrilled to be able to swatch for Indie Brands, and Lac Attack is one that I have long admired. Not only do I have a bunch of LA polishes to share with you guys, but Lac Attack is one of the sponsors for the giveaway! Wahoo!
The first Lac Attack polish that I chose to share here is called The Cure Starts Now. This polish was created for -you guessed it - The Cure Starts Now Foundation. Their focus is to eradicate Cancer (especially childhood cancer), and since my own Mother is battling Stage 4 inoperable Lung Cancer, I just had to share this baby first. The Cure Starts Now matches the foundations colors - Matte Blue, Purple, and Yellow. I chose to layer this polish over Zoya Skylar.
This is 2 coats of The Cure Starts Now over 2 coats of Zoya Skylar:
Do you hear that little "boom boom" sound? That's the pitter patter of my little heart, I love this polish so! Not only do I love the colors and the glitter blend in this, but the cause behind it is so very important. All profits from sales of this polish go to The Cure Starts Now foundation, and that makes this girl even more special. Not that any of us *need* a reason to buy polish, but that's a wonderful reason in my eyes.
The Cure Starts Now has a truly wonderful formula - thick enough to hold the glitter but not too thick to work with. No sinking or clumpy glitters and no thickening during use. Application was stellar as well with the glitters dispersing beautifully without dabbing and no need to fish for the larger glitters. The base to glitter ratio is perfect as well. TCSN does not dry textured, so no need for glitter food - your regular top coat will smooth things out beautifully. I wore this for 2 days and when I went to remove it, not one glitter had lifted.
This is my first Lac Attack polish and so far I am highly impressed. I cannot wait to share the others (including the "Waxy Lady" Top Coat) with you all!
You can check out Lac Attack at LacAttack.com. The Cure Starts Now sells for $8 full size, has just been re-stocked!. The brand new Cell Block Tango Collection is also available, and I highly recommend checking them out. I'm dying to get my hands on them! You can follow Lac Attack on Facebook and Instagram for re-stock info, new releases, sales, and swatches.
What do you think of The Cure Starts Now?
I'm hoping to be back this evening with a new beauty from Love, Angeline - cross your fingers for me!
Thanks for stopping by and Happy Polishing!
-Kimber

Giveaway WInners and new Giveaway info!
Nothing to Disclose
Hello Lovelies! I know I promised a Daring Digits post, but I had a bit of an emotional break this afternoon. I'm having a very hard time dealing with my mom's cancer returning, and am prone to bouts of hysterical crying.
In happier news, The Daring Digits 80's Hits Collection Giveaway has ended! The winners have been chosen and emailed. First of all I want to say THANK YOU!!! to everyone that entered. I wish that I could give you all something, but I'm already rather broke and that would take selling my car. I also want to mention that winners were selected at random, and my husband pushed the little button on rafflecopter.
Winner Number 1:
Missy Robinson of Gnarly Gnails! I love this woman's nail art and her absolutely perfect nails. I just found her on IG a few weeks ago, and I'm already photo stalking her. You should too!
Winner Number 2:
This one requires a disclaimer. Most of my giveaways have ended up with someone I know winning. I do a lot of challenges and know a lot of awesome bloggers because of those. So far someone from those groups has won in 2 out of 3 giveaways. Winners are completely random so imagine my surprise when my second winner was Gini from Sassy Paints! I'm still shocked! I'm also happy for her since I know she could use a win. Lately people have been being horrible and hating on her nail shape (which is also my nail shape on my right hand, just shorter) and she recently had to post a blog post about it. If you haven't already, head on over to her blog and check it out. I think that sometimes people forget that there are people attached to the nails we see online and speak without thinking.
So there ya have it! Congrats ladies!
Now, onto the next giveaway!!!!
Since KLK hit 500 followers during the Daring Digits Giveaway, I'm keeping my word and starting another giveaway on 5/1. The prize this time is the yet to be released Holographic Collection from BG Cosmetics. I have swatches of these beauties here on the blog, and will have the 4th polish swatched for you all tomorrow. This collection is amazing. Not only are these polishes packed with holo goddnes, but 2 of them ar glow in the dark, and one is a True White Holo (I'm working on getting my hands on that one to show you all)!! Giveaway will be live Wednesday morning and will run until 5/30. There will be tons of ways to enter and special "surprise" entries posted at random.
I hope you all had as much fun with this giveaway as I did. This was by far the largest giveaway I have run, and I hope to be able to keep posting some awesome giveaways on a regular basis.
Thanks for entering and Happy Polishing!

Twenty Seven Polish - Evil Stepsisters (and some Giveaway info!)
AHHHHHHH! Just broke a nail!!!!! Nooooooo!
Good morning lovelies! Happy Caturday! Charlie has some things to say today, so make sure to click to read more or you'll miss her Caturday message!
Since my FB page (like KLK HERE) in reality has over 100 likes (if pages like you it doesnt count, plus my counter seems to only update when it feels like it), the giveaway will start Monday. Gini and I have narrowed down the prizes, and they are all being shipped. Unfortunately, being the holiday season, shipping takes a bit so I will be using my personal bottles as well as links to some blogger swatches until they are all here.
Prizes:
A-England- She Walks In Beauty
A-England- And The Moonbeams
Polish TBH - Tiny Dancer
Polish TBH - Midnight
Twenty Seven Polish - Evil Stepsisters (conveniently swatched in this post!)
Twenty Seven Polish - Fake ID
Twenty Seven Polish - Change Is Good
All are full sized bottles. I'll be posting the giveaway on Monday, probably in the evening.
And now, the polish!
It's no secret that Twenty Seven Polish has become one of my fave Indie Brands. And with good reason. Lisa makes some gorgeous polish, complete with stellar application and affordable pricing. Today's stunner is Evil Stepsisters, a mix of Orange, Green and Purple Shard Glitter, 2 different shades of purple Hex glitter, and the occasional black star in a pink to green duochrome shimmer base. This polish is incredible. The duochrome shift is gorgeous, and combined with the glitters? Wow. Can you tell I'm in love? My swatches do not show the black stars, since they weren't obvious against my base color, but they are in there! Make sure you click to see more - you want to see the duochrome, right?
All photos are a single coat of Evil Stepsisters over Illamasqua Baptiste (Pic heavy to show off the colors!):
Wow. Just wow. I love a good duochrome, but duochrome and awesome glitter? *swoon*!!! I love this over a dark base, but this looks awesome over lighter colors as well - I tried it over a bright Orange from Essie and wow! I used kept the black stars over the orange and this polish looked just as stunning, yet entirely different. So versatile as well as gorgeous. Lisa has a real stunner on her hands here.
Formula:
Dreamy! Evil Stepsisters has the signature Indie thickness, while still being easy to use. No thickening during use, no clumpy glitters, and the glitter did not settle in the bottle.
Application:
Easy Peasy! Evil stepsisters was smooth and silky for a glitter. No fishing for glitters here, The brush dispersed just the right amount of glitter with each stroke. This girl isn't as textured as alot of Indie glitters, but I did use a coat of Gelous to make sure it was nice and smooth -especially with shard glitters. Dry time was impressive - this was dry to the touch before I even applied the gelous!
Overall? LOVE LOVE LOVE!!! For me, this is a must have, and I know I will need a full sized bottle sooner rather than later. Lucky for you, you can win this baby starting Monday!
All Twenty Seven Polish is 3-Free and can found via Twenty Seven Polish on Etsy.. Full sized bottles retail for $7, minis for $3. Lisa also has 2 new glitters available, so be sure to check them out! Don't forget to use code 27WIN at checkout for 20% off!
And now....
You all know that I spend an exorbitant amount of time at my polish table in my kitchen. If you follow me on twitter, you may have seen the pics of "the invaders" a few days ago. It seems my polish table is popular with small creatures. :)
Since it's a bit chilly at the polish table (it's in front of a large set of sliding glass doors), I keep my fluffy robe handy in the evenings. Charlie loves my robe - drooling and kneading on it often. That is, when she's not using it for a kitteh bed.
Charlie: Mom? That blue thing is fluffeh! I lay on it?
Me: Charlie, I need that. It's cold!
Charlie: Look! An alien!!! Up there!!!!
Me: That's the desklamp.
Charlie: Oh..that not work? Okay....Um...here! I lick your knee!!!
Me: (wiping off kitteh drool) Charlie, you are weird.
Charlie: It's so fluffy!!! I lay here nao!
Me: You are silly kitteh. Now I smell like kitteh breath.
Charlie: I has a comfy. See? I has the blue fluffy thing!!! On a more serious note, mom...
Charlie: *YAWN* I so vewy tired. I nap here, k? This my fluffy. I claim it in the name of nap time.
Me: Oooookay. I guess you win. But it's cold, and I may freeze to death and then no more scratches for you!
Charlie: zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
Marleigh the 120 lb Great Labradane: That cat is weird. I can has steak?
And with that, I am off to tend to this damned broken corner. *sighs*
Thanks for stopping by and Happy Polishing!
