Laquerlicious Salt Water

Good morning Lovelies! Happy Saturday! No news here, since my mom's appointment is actually on Monday. Could've sworn it was yesterday, but my mind is sorta jumbled lately.

Today I have one of the most beautiful glitters in my collection to share with you. I've already shown you 2 amazing glitters from Laquerlicious (Ember Glow and Indigo Storm), but for some reason this one is my very favorite. Salt Water is an unbelievably beautiful mix of  large teal hex glitter, medium holo teal square glitter, small teal hex glitter, tiny teal hex glitter, medium white hex, medium white square, and small white matte square in a clear base. That sounds like a LOT of glitter, right? Michelle has mixed this so that the glitter isn't overwhelming. It's a perfect mix, and reminds me of tropical ocean waters. It also kinda makes me want to grab a lawnchair, a margarita, and a pool boy with a fan. ;)

The moment I unwrapped this glitter I knew that I absolutely needed to layer this over China Glaze For Audrey (any excuse to wear For Audrey is a good one, right?).  The result was one of my very favorite manicures ever. It's not flashy or in your face, but instead simply beautiful and sparkly. I could not keep my eyes off of my nails!

This is a single coat of Salt Water over For Audrey, topped with SV.

I am simply in awe of this glitter. I cannot get over just how utterly perfect his mix of colors is! LOVE!!!!!

Formula:
Salt Water's formula was fabulous! Consistency was perfection - thick while never being goopy or gloppy.

Application:
Like buttah! I had no issues with this glitter at all.The brush delivered the perfect amount of glitter without having to fish for any of the larger hexes. There was no dragging, chasing glitter around my nails or clumping at the tips. Despite being a chunky glitter, I needed only 1 coat of my usual top coat. The glitters lay perfectly flat on the nail with no assistance.

I cannot rave about Salt Water enough!. I love Laquerlicious polish anyway (I am seriously  huge fan and would own them all if I had more money to spare), but if you only try out one of her creations, make it this one!!

All Laquerlicious creations are 3-Free and available via LaquerliciousUnity on Etsy. Full size bottles retial for $8.50, and there are a ton of polishes on sale right now! Go forth and check it out!

What do you think of Salt Water? Are you as in love with this awesome glitter as I am??

I do have some more Polish TBH and Twenty Seven Polish coming up soon! Wait until you guys see these beauties!

Thanks for stopping by and HappyPolishing!!

Classic Color: China Glaze For Audrey

Good Morning, Ladies! Happy Sunday! Tomorrow is the first day of The 31 Day Challenge, round 2 (for me!). I'm so excited to start! There's still time to join in. Just leave me a comment and I'll add you to the list. :)

Today I am sharing a polish that need no introduction. I know you guys have seen this color on every blog under the sun, but I just had to wear this as my last mani before the 31 Day Challenge begins. Actually, I lie, since I'm actually wearing Nfu Oh 51 at the moment, but I've shown that polish twice now.

I love For Audrey. I've wanted this girl forever. Every time I decided to give in and buy it, as is my luck out here in NM, it was out of stock. I finally found her at Sally's while picking up some of the New Bohemian Luster Chromes. Yay!

This polish doesn't need a lot of words, we all know it's glorious, so let's just bask in its glory!

Details:
1 coat OPI Nail Envy Matte
2 coats For Audrey
1 coat Seche Vite

Lots of pics, because this polish is so very drool-worthy. I would marry this polish. Or at the very least, take it out for a nice dinner and a movie. Please forgive the abundance of cuticle oil. My hands were terrifyingly dry from lots of handwashing. So dry they hurt, so they got slathered with all sorts of moisture. :) My top coat bubbled a bit too. I forgot to restore my SV before using it. Boooooooo me!

*Swoon*! Oh yes, I am in love. I loved this so much, that I wanted to wear it for a loooong time. So I'm wearing it as a pedi at the moment. I will wear this again, probably with a gradient. I apologize in advance for showing it twice, but can you really blame me?

Formula:
My bottle was a touch thick, but nothing a few drops of thinner couldn't handle. This was lovely and buttery after the thinner.

Application:
A bit streaky on the first coat, but she evens out like a dream. No issues with balding, dragging, or gooping. So close to perfection!

This is definitely on my must have list. In fact, if I had to choose one polish to wear forever, I'd be hard pressed to choose between For Audrey and Nfu Oh 51, but this girl just might win. I'm that in love.

What is your must have polish?

Thanks for dropping by and as always, Happy Polishing!

vintage roses con moÑo acrilico mini tutorial

hola!!!!'

opi ''steady as she rose'', china glaze ''for audrey'', sally hansen ''green with envy'', sinful colors ''beautiful girl'' y republic nail estilografo blanco
