Yesterday Copenhagen Fashion Week began and left the city buzzing with renewed energy and inspiration. Models in motor bike helmets walking the main shopping street, parties and refreshments and competitions in every store. This is a most wonderful time of year. Although I'm going to work to babysit little children, I'm dressed up. The feeling of a reenvigorated city after weeks of rain and cold weather installs in my soul and the warmth of the blazing sunshine lets my hardened veins of awaitening fashion inspiration melt and flow freely.
Tomorrow I am going to experience the Copenhagen Fashion Festival - a great range of events for all civilians in the war of fashion weeks. There are parties to go to, shows to watch, music to be heard, drinks to sip, macaroons to eat, competitions to win and clothes to be tried on, photos to take and worst of all WHAT TO WEAR!!!!!!!!
I will have to put my thinking cap on and rummage through my wardrobe and find the perfect outfit for a hot afternoon and a fashionable night out on town.
But before all this happens I have to wipe a dozens of noses, change some diapers, fetch pacifiers, comfort babies crying, scold babies biting and lull them to sleep. All in my jumpsuit in military style from Flying A and grey suede platforms.
