Gold nails-31 Day Challenge

Hola!!!

día 3 del reto y el tema es ''gold'' o color oro, la verdad creo que ese color no queda muy bien con mi tono de piel por eso escogí poner solo glitter dorado.

Primero aplique el  esmalte de Pure Ice ''Platinum magic base coat'' que es el esmalte blanco y sobre el puse 2 capas de L.A. Colors Color Craze ''Dizzy''.

Siempre me ha gustado la combinación de los colores blanco y dorado, creo que este glitter dorado se vería hermoso también sobre un color turquesa.

Espero podre terminar todo el reto :D pero creo que me atrasaré un poco ya que saldre de vacaciones.
Que les parece la combinación les gusta?

Happy New Year 2013-Feliz Año Nuevo 2013

Hola!!
Otro año que queda atrás, y mientras vivimos las últimas horas del 2012 quiero mostrarles otro disenio de para celebrar año nuevo.
No puedo decir que este año fue el mejor para mi pero no fue tan malo, mi blog avanzó mucho y creo que mejoró en muchas cosas y me encantó compartir con el mundo el amor que tengo por el arte en las unias, también puedo decir que he mejorado muchisimo en mi técnica para pintar y en mi conocimiento por tecnicas y emaltes. Este año logré ser estilista y lo mejor de todo este año es que mi hijo esta sano y creciendo muy bien :D Así que doy gracias a Dios por todo lo que he aprendido y por las bendiciones que me dió y me da cada día.

Para este post quise hacer algo mas clásico así que pense en el color ''Dorado'' y también utilicé una imagen de pinterest como inspiración la cual les mostraré más adelante,  como base utiicé el esmalte ''Rare & Radiant'' de China Glaze. Para pintar las copas y las letras usé pintura acrilica de la marca republic nail y mizza.

China Glaze Wicked Collection, Halloween 2012: Cast A Spell

Hi all! Another 2 post day today! I really wanted to wear a Halloween polish today, and I can't resist sharing it with you!

Today I have Cast A Spell from the China Glaze Wicked Collection, an insanely beautiful Golden Olive glass fleck in a deep green base. The base of this polish is so dark that it can appear black at times, but in most light it shows a deep Olive toned green. The glass flecks have a lovely golden Olive hue, and make this polish just glow from within. I've been waiting to wear this for awhile now, and I am in awe of it's murky beauty.

Look at that color! I love how dark, yet vibrant this polish looks. I think this is my very favorite Halloween polish from this years collections.

Formula:
Cast A Spell is a little on the thick side, however I experienced no glopping or additional thickening during use. Very buttery formula on this one.

Application:
Smooth and effortless, Cast A Spell applied beautifully with zero dragging or balding.  Easy to control, this girl needed very little clean-up, but beware! If you are OCD about your lines like I am and always clean up no matter what, this polish will leave glittery residue anywhere your brush touches! As a bonus, CAS could be deemed a one coater, although I'm wearing 2 coats for depth and color.

I am so glad that I didn't pass on this one.  Despite there being very similar colors out there, this is certainly a gem among my collection.

New Years nail design/ mini tutorial

hi!!!, this time i decided to write in english (is just a little bit lol and i know it's not perfect). I was going to do a blog post explaining this nail design but when i was painting last night i decided to do a mini tutorial with pictures, so here it is!!! enjoy ;)


This are the things that you need! but if you want to change the colors it's ok, for me the colors that represent new years are golden and black.

24 carat by kleancolor, a golden nail polish this one doesn't have a name but it's from wet n wild, a black nail polish, a make up sponge and a top coat

step 1: paint your nails with the golden nail polish

step 2: with a make up sponge grab a little bit of black nail polish and start pressing (not to strong) on the free edge of the nail and the color has to look softer in the middle of the nail.



step 3: add a tiny layer of golden glitter in the middle of the nail, i used 24 carat.

Note: you can leaveyour nails like this if you want to or continue with the next step!!

last step: with a white nail art pen or with a toothpick write ''happy 2012'' on the nail and you're done!

kleancolor 24 carat

hola hola!!
solo les mostrare estas fotos de este esmalte de kleancolor llamado 24 carat osea 24 quilates, ya habia publicado sobre un esmalte dorado pero despues de ver mis unias doradas pense en agregarle 24 carat arriba, el cual es un esmalte de glitter dorado con un poco de glitter holografico (quiere decir ke cambia de color, iridisente) y alguno ke otro flakie dorado tambien.

 Esta foto fue tomada con flash con el proposito de ke vieran un poco la iridisencia de el esmalte

golden yellow nail polish-EVY

despues de ver varios blogs he llegado a la conclusion de ke el dorado esta de moda :p, y como ya tenia varios meses ke compre este esmalte decidi usarlo hoy! y kedo hermoso a mi gusto se ve muy bello aunque no es dorado por completo tiene un toque amarillento pero en el buen sentido, aunque la aplicacion no fue muy favorable ya que le di 3 capas y aun asi se ve un poco transparente para mi gusto, la formula del esmalte tiene un olor como a ajo pero tambien por el lado bueno era suave y se deslizaba facilmente por la unia, el color resulto aun mas hermoso ya en la unia, este es mi segundo esmalte de esta marca llamada EVY y al parecer es mexicana por que esta reconocido por ''nuestra belleza mexico'' (un certamen que se hace aqui en mexico para saber quien nos representara en miss universo).
