Hello Lovelies! I apologize for my absence yesterday, as well as the lack of Flakie Friday. I've been crazy busy the past couple of days, as well as nursing an angry tooth. Fun stuff, let me tell ya!
First of all, there is less than a day left to grab Pure Nail Oil for 30% off. This is the last time it will be on sale until January 2014, so grab it now! The Get Naked Challenge is going all month (please email me to enter...the odds of winning are VERY GOOD at the moment, so don't be shy! If you need photo help, please let me know as well!), so don't feel like you can't enter since you may not be able to go naked right away. Just pick any 3 days and go for it! You can check out all the challenge information (as well as ordering info) in my original post here.
Today I have an incredible polish from Wingdust Collections to share with you. I've been trying to hold off on this beauty until some of my length is back, but I just couldn't wait any longer. It's summer and that means holo season, so my holos are now coming out to play.
Space Cadet is a super gorgeous black jelly packed with holo and iridescent glitters and a soft lilac shimmer. This polish is one of my all time fave black holos and is truly stunning. I wish I could transport you all to my polish corner so I could show you just how amazing this is IRL.
This is 3 thin coats of Space Cadet with top coat. I took these in indirect lighting to capture more of the holo sparkle, but my camera really wanted to focus on the glitters. Just imagine rainbows!:
Every time I see this polish I just want to squee! Such an incredible holo beauty...and a perfect base for galaxy nails too!
Space Cadet's formula is true Wingdust Perfection - not too thick, not too thin, and no thickening up during use. Application was stellar as well with no dragging, balding, or clumpy glitters. Dry time was insanely fast, and wear is exceptional with no chips or tip wear at 36 hours. But honestly, do we expect anything less than excellence from Wingdust? IMO Wingdust is one of the most exceptional brands out there.
You can find WIngdust polishes by visiting Wingdust Collections on Etsy or by heading over to Llarowe. Full size polishes will run you $8.50 - $10.00 depending on finish. You can al so follow Wingdust on Facebook and Instagram for new releases, updates, and swatches.
What do you think of Space Cadet? Do you have a fave Wingdust polish?
Stay tuned for some awesomeness from Fandom Cosmetics and Love Angeline tomorrow! I'll also be joining the ever fabulous Gini from Sassy Paints for Try It Out Tuesdays, so be sure to check back soon!
Thanks for stopping by and Happy Polishing!
-Kimber

Hello Lovelies! Happy Thursday! I am feeling better today since I actually managed to get some sleep last night. Well, in all honesty my body pretty much decided that I had no choice in the matter, and around 9:30 last night I just kind of fell onto the bed and stayed there for a good 4 hours. Then I decided that I was hungry, so I got up, ate, polished, and went back to bed. Much more like my usual sleep pattern, since I normally sleep for a bit after putting the little one to bed, and then get up and polish around 11 or so. I'm hoping that this may be the end of my new found inability to sleep, so keep your fingers crossed!
Today I have an absolutely stunning polish from Wingdust Collections to share with you. This is one of my very fave Wingdust pretties, but I'll be honest - Pics do not do this polish justice. I have yet to see a truly color accurate photo of this girl (Nail Gun XS's are the closest), and mine are no exception.
I am yours and you are mine is an amazing deep red jelly packed with yellow, brown, and purple micro glitter and scattered holo. In natural lighting, this polish has a beautiful almost fuchsia glow that I wasn't able to capture. In fact, she seems to change slightly with different angles, which makes her even more magnificent!
This is 2 coats of I am yours and you are mine with top coat:
*Le Sigh*! Gorgeous, even if it's not perfectly color accurate! Honestly it's not too far off, at least for articficial light. It does have more purple to it IRL, and it's incredibly vibrant. My lighting kind of washes this one out.
Formula and application were both perfect! I had no issues at all with this girl. No thickening, glopping, or gooping and no balding or dragging. Dry Time was lighting quick and wear is excellent with no chips or tip wear at 24 hours (I even did some gardening in there!). I am yours and you are mine dries relatively smooth as well, so no need for anything other than your usual top coat. Just an excellent polish. But then again, it's Wingdust! I don't think Steph has ever made a polish that was less than perfection. Lucky for me, I still have a few left to share with you (I'm actually behind on these due to my mom's health issues. I suck).
If you haven't snatched up some Wingdust yet, you can check them out at Wingdust Collections on Etsy or by visting Llarowe. Keep in mind that Wingdust polishes are always in high demand, so you may have to do some stalking. I recommend following Wingdust on Facebook for restock information and general info. Full size bottles sell for $8.50 - $12.00.
What do you think of I am yours and you are mine? Do you have a fave Wingdust polish?
I'll be back tomorrow with some Flakie Friday goodness and I have some NPB and Live Life Polished on the way!
Thanks for stopping by and Happy Polishing!

ABC Challenge Post!! 'S' is for Wingdust Collections - Sunset Glow
Press Sample
*Product(s) Featured provided for review. Please see Disclaimer/Legal Page for more information**
Heeeeelllloooo Lovelies!!! I know it's been a few days since my last post, but in all honesty I needed some down time today. Yesterday was my beautiful Son's 3rd birthday, as well as my youngest Niece's High School Graduation and party. Mom had chemo on Monday...honestly I picked the wrong week to take time off! Should've done it this week! Anyway, all that combined with my newfound all encompassing insomnia (I literally sleep maybe 3 hours a night if I'm lucky, and not at all last night) and stress, plus the fact that I haven't been eating much at all, left me shaky and feeling faint today. I spent the day resting and nibbling and am feeling so much better.
Which means it's now catch up time, so I'll be post spamming I'm sure! But hey, that means more awesome pretties for you! Win? I hope!
First of all, If you weren't aware, my 500 GFC Follower giveaway is live, live, live! Enter to win the BG Cosmetics Holographics Collection! This collection is still in pre-order and is in high demand, so you don't want to miss the chance to win! Enter here!
If you've been following me on FB, you know all about my Pure Nail Oil™updates....check out my big reveal and all that Pure™ has done for me here!
I know I owe you all a Q and R post, and I'll get that done, I promise. But for now, let's just jump straight to "s" and pretend that I didn't have to skip anything.
I was going to do some nail art for "S" but just did not have time this week, so I reached for a polish that I have been dying to wear for some time.
"Sunset Glow" is an absolutely gorgeous duochrome layering polish from the incredible Wingdust Collections. I have been obsessed with Wingdust since I first saw them on Sassy Paints, and it has really made me sad that I haven't been able to wear mine yet, what with life getting in the way and all. I was thrilled to be able to grab Sunset Glow and finally show her off! Words don't really do this beauty justice at all, and in all honesty? Pics don't do much better. This polish is a real chameleon, and looks different yet equally stunning in different lighting. This one definitely improved my mood!
This is 1 coat of Wingdust Collections "Sunset Glow" over A-England Camelot:
*Le Sigh*! So beautiful! You can see the duochrome effect fairly well on my index nail, and my god! Isn't it just gorgeous!?!
Also, please note the lack of editing here...yay for Pure Nail Oil™ (If you missed my big reveal and review, you really need to see it. Click here!)!!
Sunset Glow was absolute perfection - The formula was flawless with no thickening at all, and application was just dreamy. I only needed one thin coat to achieve the effect you see here. A second coat does increase the color, but I love the sparkly effect shown here, so I left it at 1. There was zero dragging, balding, or gooping and dry time was lightning fast. I wore this for around 36 hours and had no tip wear and not a single chip to be seen.
Wingdust polishes are so amazing, loves. Stephanie is a true genius! Sunset Glow is an absolute masterpeice and one of my new fave layering polishes. I really want to layer this with Pure Ice heartbreaker and see what happens!!
If you have yet to check out Wingdust Collections, head on over to Wingdust on Etsy, or Llarowe and check them out! Full size polishes sell for between $7-$10, but they go fast so don't wait! You can also follow Wingdust on Facebook for up to date re-stock information and new releases.
I'll be back tomorrow (and ya know, every day until the end of time!) with some awesomeness from Fuse Nail Polish, Nail Pattern Boldness, Polish Addict and more!
Don't forget to check out all my awesome (and incredibly patient and supportive) Polish Sistah's and their letter S manicures!
Thanks for stopping by and Happy Polishing!

Wingdust Collections - Cody Cat
Press Sample
*Product(s) Featured provided for review. Please see Disclaimer/Legal Page for more information**
Hello again Lovelies! I'm back with my second post of the day! I'm actually very glad that I have this second post since I need a distraction today. My brother-in-law was admitted to the Heart Hospital today for a possible blockage, and my mom (you may remember she was fighting Lung Cancer) is going through a ton of tests in the morning since she has lost 21 lbs and can't hold anything down, on top of her cough never really improving. This year is really sucking as far as family members and health issues.
This evening I have an absolutely beautiful polish from Wingdust Collections to share with you. When I was offered the chance to review for Wingdust, I literally did the happy dance. I have been in love with Wingdust since I first laid eyes on them! I had a very hard time picking which polish to share first, but this one was really calling to me so last night I sat down and finally tried out my first Wingdust polish.
Cody Cat is a tribute polish, created in memory of Stephanie's beloved kitty, Cody. CC is a mix of different sizes of black, gunmetal, silver, white, and green glitters in a White jelly base and it also has a lovely soft shimmer to it (but since I had zero sunlight I wasn't able to capture that as well as I would've liked). This is a truly beautiful polish, and a stunning tribute to Cody.
This is 3 coats of Cody Cat over NPB Glitter-A-Peel and topped with Glitter Food and HK Girl Top Coat:
*Drools* Love!! I have a thing for white jelly polishes with new and different glitter combos, and the green, gunmetal, silver and black really do it for me! So beautiful!
Cody Cat's formula was simply amazing - wonderful consistency (not too thick, not to thin), no thickening with use, and no clumpy glitters. Application was equally impressive with the polish flowing smoothly over the nail with no dragging or balding. I had no issues picking up enough glitter or with glitter placement, and zero glopping or gooping. Cody Cat does not dry all that textured, but since I went a little thicker than usual (testing out a new peel off base coat!) I added a coat of Glitter Food to keep things smooth. The white jelly base is semi-sheer, but 2-3 coats are fairly opaque. Cody Cat would also look amazing layered over white, but I love the squishiness of this one, so I just couldn't bring myself to wear it any way but by itself. I do wish that I had been able to capture more of the shimmer in this girl - it is so beautiful. In sunlight, it has a soft, almost holographic (albeit very subtle) golden glow that is just gorgeous.
I am already just in love with Wingdust! In fact, I am wondering if I can sneak another one in before I have to work on my ABC challenge manicure. Stephanie's creations are all just amazingly beautiful and so very unique. I can't wait to get more on my nails!
Wingdust Collections can be found at Wingdust Collection on Etsy. Full sized bottles retail between $8.50 and $10.00, depending on finish. Stephanie's beauties sell out fast, so if you can't find them on Etsy, be sure to check Llarowe! Also don't forget to follow Wingdust on Facebook for re-stock info, new releases and updates. These polishes are well worth stalking etsy and llarowe for!
What do you think of Cody Cat? Do you have a favorite Wingdust polish?
Be sure to check back tomorrow for some more Holo awesomess from BG Cosmetics!
Thanks for stopping by and Happy Polishing!
