Hello again Lovelies! I'm back with my second post of the day! I'm actually very glad that I have this second post since I need a distraction today. My brother-in-law was admitted to the Heart Hospital today for a possible blockage, and my mom (you may remember she was fighting Lung Cancer) is going through a ton of tests in the morning since she has lost 21 lbs and can't hold anything down, on top of her cough never really improving. This year is really sucking as far as family members and health issues.

This evening I have an absolutely beautiful polish from Wingdust Collections to share with you. When I was offered the chance to review for Wingdust, I literally did the happy dance. I have been in love with Wingdust since I first laid eyes on them! I had a very hard time picking which polish to share first, but this one was really calling to me so last night I sat down and finally tried out my first Wingdust polish.

Cody Cat is a tribute polish, created in memory of Stephanie's beloved kitty, Cody. CC is a mix of  different sizes of black, gunmetal, silver, white, and green glitters in a White jelly base and it also has a lovely soft shimmer to it (but since I had zero sunlight I wasn't able to capture that as well as I would've liked).  This is a truly beautiful polish, and a stunning tribute to Cody.

This is 3 coats of Cody Cat over NPB Glitter-A-Peel and topped with Glitter Food and HK Girl Top Coat:

*Drools* Love!! I have a thing for white jelly polishes with new and different glitter combos, and the green, gunmetal, silver and black really do it for me! So beautiful!

Cody Cat's formula was simply amazing - wonderful consistency (not too thick, not to thin), no thickening with use, and no clumpy glitters.  Application was equally impressive with the polish flowing smoothly over the nail with no dragging or balding. I had no issues picking up enough glitter or with glitter placement, and zero glopping or gooping. Cody Cat does not dry all that textured, but since I went a little thicker than usual (testing out a new peel off base coat!) I added a coat of Glitter Food to keep things smooth.  The white jelly base is semi-sheer, but 2-3 coats are fairly opaque. Cody Cat would also look amazing layered over white, but I love the squishiness of this one, so I just couldn't bring myself to wear it any way but by itself. I do wish that I had been able to capture more of the shimmer in this girl - it is so beautiful. In sunlight, it has a soft, almost holographic (albeit very subtle) golden glow that is just gorgeous.

I am already just in love with Wingdust! In fact, I am wondering if I can sneak another one in before I have to work on my ABC challenge manicure.  Stephanie's creations are all just amazingly beautiful and so very unique. I can't wait to get more on my nails!

Wingdust Collections can be found at Wingdust Collection on Etsy. Full sized bottles retail between $8.50 and $10.00, depending on finish. Stephanie's beauties sell out fast, so if you can't find them on Etsy, be sure to check Llarowe! Also don't forget to follow Wingdust on Facebook for re-stock info, new releases and updates. These polishes are well worth stalking etsy and llarowe for!

What do you think of Cody Cat? Do you have a favorite Wingdust polish?

Be sure to check back tomorrow for some more Holo awesomess from BG Cosmetics!

Thanks for stopping by and Happy Polishing!
