Late, late, late! ABC Challenge: "K" is for Whimsical Nail Polish by Pam - Kitty Glitter!

Hello lovelies! I'm finally back! I cannot tell you how much I have missed blogging. I did need a bit of a break to handle everything that needed to be done while the hubs was in Texas helping out my MIL with all the details of my FIL's memorial service, but I really missed being here, reading all of your posts, and just polish in general. My nails were mostly naked for the past 10 days, save for 2 days, and I am really itching to polish tonight!

I'd like to say thank you to each and every one of you for your patience, understanding and support over the past 10 days. It's hard to leave your blog gathering dust, especially when it has become such a large part of my daily life. Knowing that you all understand don't begrudge me the need to let life come first is wonderful.

The giveaway is still going, and I recently added one more daily entry to the mix, so don't forget to get those entries! I will have the rest of the 80's Hits Collection swatches coming up, and if you love them in the bottle, then you will swoon once you see them on the nail!

Speaking of nails, while I was MIA, I managed to break a nail in a big way. Of course, it's on my photo hand. Thankfully they are not super nubbins, but they're definitely nubbins. Thnankfully I'm not opposed to nubbins and I know that you guys don't mind when I have them, but you're going to see some swatches on my stilettos (right hand) as well, since some polish just looks amazing on stilettos and hey - what a great opportunity to show them off! I also have brand new BG Cosmetics, Pop Culture Cosmetics, and Polish TBH coming up! You're gonna want to check back often - these are not to be missed! But let's get to some polish!!

This week's letter was "K", and this was a tough one. I have 2 awesome K polishes from Whimsical Nail Polish by Pam, and I literally had to flip a coin to choose. Then I had to convince myself to post this, since my nails were all different lengths in these photos, since I was too lazy to even them out before polishing. If there is one thing about nails I detest, it's filing. I suck at it, and my nails grow in odd directions, which means getting them even and straight takes hours. I literally take all day to get them right sometimes (with lots of breaks so I don't end up frustrated and throw my file against the wall.), and my middle nail alone takes forever. It grows diagonally in the nail bed, and if it looks straight from the front, it's not straight when I curl my fingers toward me. I would honestly rather whack myself in the kneecaps with a tire iron than file. But I digress!

My coin toss choose Kitty Glitter by Whimisical Nail Polish By Pam, which is a beautiful soft, almost icy blue jelly loaded with silver hex and smaller round glitters. Strangely enough, Charlie loved this one too - or at least she liked batting at the ribbon on the bottle!

This is 2 coats of Kitty Glitter topped with HK Girl Top Coat:

Not the best shots of this girl, but I also managed to blow out of my photo lights while shooting this polish (Had a great run of luck there, I tell ya). And, don't be like me and let your cuticles go to hell while taking some time off.  However, you get the gist. And can I just say...wow! A few weeks ago I ordered 6 whimsies, and every last one of them is just incredible. I can't believe that I went so long before trying these!

Kitty Glitter's formula was pure awesome sauce. Thick enough to carry the perfect amount of glitter while still being silky smooth, I had zero issues with this baby. Dry time was fast, and even though this does dry a touch textured, all I really needed for a glassy smooth surface was my beloved HK Girl top coat. Wear was beyond expectations - I had zero wear and no chips right up until I removed this. I cannot wait to try out the rest of my whimsies!

If you have yet to check out Whimsical Nail Polish by Pam, you really need to. Ordering is easy - just check out Whimsical Ideas by Pam on Facebook - ordering information and pricing ($10 per bottle) is in the about section. Pam's polish will blow your mind!

I'll have more Whimsies coming up during the challenge, so check back soon! Until then, and if you haven't already, go check out all my awesome ladies and their letter K manis!!

I'll be back tomorrow with BG Cosmetics (stilletos!), and Monday brings more Daring Digits and the debut of my cute lil nubbins!)!!!!

Thanks for stopping by and Happy Polishing!
