Today I have some pretties from Luscious Potion to share with you. Luscious Potion is one of the newer Indie brands, but has really impressed with gorgeous glitter toppers, glitter blends and thermal polishes. I have 2 glitter toppers from LP's debut Disney Collection for you all, so let's get started!

First up is Royal Beauty, a mix of Yellow hexes, teal hexes and teal diamonds in a clear base. This pretty is based on Princess Jasmine from the Disney movie Aladdin, and definitely reminds me of Jasmine's awesome attire.

This is 1 coat of Royal Beauty over A-England Galahad (with top coat):

Teal and Yellow has always a fave color combo when it comes to glitters, but this stands out due to the diamond shaped glitters. Love it!

Royal Beauty's formula was wonderful with a lovely thick consistency (helps to hold those glitters!), yet it wasn't so thick that it was hard to use. I did have to do a slight amount of glitter placing with the Diamond glitters, but I didn't find that problematic at all. Royal Beauty does dry just a tiny bit textured, but my usual top coat smoothed that out nicely.

Next up is Simply Magical, a mix of Light Blue, Royal Blue, and Blue Star shaped glitters. Based on Disney's Cinderella, this polish reminds me of Cinderella's dress and her fairy godmother waving her wand around (and the resulting starts and magical trails!). It also reminds me of the Dallas Cowboys, which is hard for me since I am a Die-Hard Redskins fan (have been since 4th grade!). ;)

This is 1 coat of Simply Magical over Orly Mirror Mirror:

This glitter is so pretty! I have a soft spot for this one since I love the color combo so very much! I did have some issues with this manicure, but those were solely due to my bottle of glitter food really disliking the 105 degree weather! So if you see bubbles, be aware that it's my glitter food and NOT this polish.  Also, greys make me a touch lobstery, eh?

Simply Magical has the same wonderfully thick formula as Royal Beauty, but again this isn't a case of too thick to work with. If anything, it really works well with those larger, shaped glitters. The stars in Simply Magical are a bit heavy and will settle, but if you just tip the bottle upside down for 2-3 minutes before use, you'll have an abundance of those little stars! I actually had to tap a few off my brush since I didn't want to cover up the smaller glitters in photos. Application was easy and straight forward - I didn't have to hand place the stars with this girl and the smaller glitters dispersed easily. Simply Magical dries a bit more textured than Royal Beauty, so I added a coat of Glitter Food (again, GF doesn't like the desert much and got a touch thick and bubbly on me) to smooth things out before top coating.

I'm always so impressed when I wear a Luscious Potion polish. What really stands out for me is that Luscious Potion is still one of the newer kids on the block, yet the color combinations, glitter mixes and quality of these polishes is exceptional.  I can't wait to show you all more from this awesome brand.

You can find Royal Beauty, Simply Magical and all the other gorgeous LP creations at Luscious Potion on Big Cartel. Royal Beauty and Simply magical (as well as the rest of the Disney Collection) are currently on sale for just $5 each too! Regular price for full size bottles is $8, so this a great deal. Be sure to follow Luscious Potion on Instagram (@Luscious Potion) for sales information, new releases, swatches and more

I have more from Luscious Potion coming up, including thermal holos, so be sure to keep your eyes peeled.

What do you think of these glitter toppers?

I'll be back tomorrow with the final ABC Challenge post! Bittersweet, but we do have another Nail Art Challenge coming up at the end of the month!

Thanks for stopping by and Happy Polishing!
-Kimber
