Hello again lovelies! I'm back, as promised, with a brand new Indie Brand for ya!
Fandom Cosmetics is a new Indie Brand that specializes in fan based nail polish. They have collections ranging from Once Upon A Time, Harry Potter, Star Trek, The Avengers, and Doctor Who. Recently I reached out to Fandom Cosmetics to create my dream collection, A Daft Punk inspired collection. I provided pictures of live performances and promo shots and Fandom took those images and poured them into a bottle. I can't wait to share those with you all!
Not only does Fandom make some killer custom creations, but their core collections are stellar. I came across this brand on Instagram and immediately fell in love with their themed collections. I can't wait to share them all with you, but for today I have one of my very favorites to show you.
Rumbelle is from Fandom's Storybook Shipper's Collection and is a mix of gold holo dust, Holographic Gold flecks, Marine holo glitters, and White Circle glitters in a white base. I've seen a few Rumbelle polishes out there, but this is by far the most stunning of them all.
This is 3 thin coats of Rumbelle topped with NPB Glitter Food and top coat. These are of the Click to Enlarge variety - you can see the holo much better with larger images. :)
Check out all that gorgeous golden holo shimmer! This girl is just incredible. These pics were taken in my light box, so you can imagine the sparkle and rainbows when this polish is in sunlight. It's dangerous! LOVE!!
Rumbelle's formula is lovely and creamy with no thickening up or clumping glitters. Application was fabulous as well, which always surprises me with these types of glitter polishes. No dragging, balding, or giant clumps of glitter on the nail, and none of that pesky glitter scraping off the base color either. Dry time was fairly quick, and wear is exceptional with absolutely no signs of wear at 24 hours. Since Rumbelle is packed with glitter and boasts a thinner base, she does dry textured. I added a coat of Glitter food to smooth things out before top coating. You will, however, be able to see some of the texture from the holo glitters if you look very closely, but outside of macro mode that's not an issue at all. Unless you're examining your nails under a microscope, you won't notice it.
I am just blown away by this stunner. I think this is truly one of the most beautiful polishes around, and if you're a fan of holos and shimmers, you must have this! I know I'm going to need several backup bottles - I'll be wearing this beauty a ton.
