Balmain

Today the look I'll be copying is more in the rock and roll style. Balmain's Spring 2011 show presented a range of grungy rock'n'rollish looks with a tiny splash of female elegance reminding me of YSL's first take on the suit. Straight and flawlessly shaped blazers dressed down with worn out tees and holy trousers to break the minimalist feel. And a bit of stars and stripes as the apple of the pie. Have a look:

It proved rather difficult to find tees with holes in them, burn marks etc. but I went for the slightly dirty look and the general idea.

This blazer is from H&M only c £41 , the nude coloured tee is an Asos forever tee £15 and the leather trousers are Vero Moda for retail price £165 (sorry guys, I know I know, but leather is really expensive - you could use leggings in fake leather too, but I went for the shape and the cropped lenght)

For look No. 2 I found this Only tank top with a bit of stars and stripes going on. The colours are clearer than Balmain's but the overall impression works. The top is c £14,5 and if you want to go for a more neutral tank the nude one with the print is also Only "Lilith" c £15,5.
For a pair of trousers I searched for a boyfriend fit, as they tend to be more army like and casual. These are H&M £41.  They are somwhat lighter than the Balmain ones, but still military enough for the look. You can easily find a budget belt that will work for almost anything. This is Topshop £16  snake look belt in black- what's not to like?

Both looks are accessorized with a pair of black suede court shoes with heels that serves to bring back elegance to the outfit. Asos court shoe suede £35.

Love boyfriend jeans with heels - why don't I own a pair of BFjeans????? Perhaps due to my rather huge behind I worry that I'll look big in them, but you never know till you've tried do you?
