It seems to be hard for me to keep away from Magnolia these days. But since I have a space where I can give voice to my passion for fashion I can't stop. D&G - do I have to say any more? This is by far one of my absolute favorite collections for Spring/Summer'11.
The idea is a floral peasant girl look with a touch of the Hamptons and romantic lace. I am stunned by the florals of Dolce Gabbana's pieces. They are so pretty! But enough of that. How do I transform runway to footway?
Ooh What I wouldn't do to own one of D&G's exquisite evening gowns in those lightweight, sheer, floating, rufflely silks... But oh shame, I cannot afford to.
But what I did do was find a dress from a limited Topshop collection that has the floaty-silky feel to it:
This is about £150, so pricey, but pretty.
To underline the romance watch these H&M shoes for only c £41:
But for the rest of the beautiful clothes I found on my search through the internet, take a look:
Pretty and chic jumpsuits and playsuit with florals. First, Topshop Petite £30, next Dorothy Perkins at Stylecompare.co.uk £45 and finally Miss Selfridge £26
Here first a Topshop pinaforte dress £32 and then Topshop vintage collection £46 (bonus: the last one is also availlable in a maternity model)
Though Dlce Gabbana went for skyhigh platforms in neon colours I have a passion for old school clogs. You can find them anywhere these days, and they are comfortable and chic. This one is from Sanita £48 (found it on stylecompare.co.uk) Otherwise I would just wear flat suede sandals with florals all over like this one from asos £25:
Sandals like these are all over the Asos shop, they are cheap and well fitted and IN ALL COLOURS... I will definately mix these with a floral playsuit under a short sleeved blazer jacket for a bit of shopping, park-walking and such during the summer.
