Recovery

Hello and happy Thursday to all.


Today I feel really ready for recovery. I have just been to the post office to  fetch a nice big parcel from lookfantastic.com containing some of my very most beloved beauty products. I have had to live without these favourites for quite some time. My temperamental skin has endured the challenge and so have I. But my oh my, it was a happy reunion when I once again held my darlings, snuggled them up against my cheeks, kissed them - and wait - I didn't. But anyways...

Returning home from work I hurried to the bathroom to cleanse and scrub my skin with Dermalogica (has saved my skin) Special Cleansing Gel and Daily Microfoliant and then applied a thick layer of my newly purchased Multivitamin Power Recovery Masque. This facial masque is stuffed with antioxidant vitamins that really helps the skin healing from its daily exposure to pollution, makeup, weather and everything. It is a creamy yellow substance that after a few minutes starts to look yellow on your skin's surface. I imagine that all the bad things are drawn out into the masque and then I can just wash away the troubles and be totally clean and soft and repaired afterwards. (And you can use it as a night treatment too without clogging your pores).

I also got the Dermalogica Total Eye Care, that I had about two years ago now. It was without comparison the best eye cream I have ever had. It is expensive but very econommical in use. A light weight cream in a yellow tone with spf 15 and light reflecting ingredients that smoothes the skin, erases dark under eye circles and reduces puffyness around the eyes. I often have dark circles and this is the best trick to make them go away.

Well, I have tried to use some cheap alternatives to add moist to my thirsty skin and to chase away all the blemishes, the subcutis impurities and the grey surface of my face and instead impose a youthful, glowing, moisturized, matte, even and peachy skin. But though I have done all right with the cheapest on sale products, when applying my darlings again I definately feel the difference. I may be forced back to the regular skin care products, but I will always return home to you my beloved dermalogica heroes.
