Today I am sharing one of the gorgeous Halloween polishes from the China Glaze Wicked Collection. I picked up 3 of these beauties awhile back, and since I've been sharing Halloween polishes I figured the next polish I wore should be one of the Wickeds.
Immortal is a beutiful medium concrete grey with subtle pink, blue, and silver microgliter. This isn't normally a color that would jump off the shelf at me, but the combination of the grey and glitter was so awesome I couldn't pass it up. Since I was in the process of shortening my length (boo!!!!), I decided that grey would be a fitting color. I was actually surprised at just how beautiful this is on the nail (even if my nails were still crooked and needed to be taken down more).
Despite my crooked nails (they're better now, albeit much shorter...I really hate that curl in my nails! thankfully this should fix it for good while.), isn't this polish just gorgeous?? The pink and blue glitter really make this for me. It's hard to really see in normal lighting, but when the sun hits it just right, wow!
Formula:
Immortal started out a bit thin and kind of runny, but thickened up a bit during use. I had no issues with glopping, but did have some drag.
Application:
Due to starting out a bit runny, Immortal was hard to control at first. It started to thicken up a bit around the 3rd nail, and then was much easier to handle. I did have dragging, so I would recommend allowing this girl to dry between coats. Dry time was quick, and this polish dries smooth to the touch despite the glitter.
I'm very glad that I picked this baby up. It doesn't really scream Halloween to me, but the color is stunning while being neutral enough to be work appropriate. Since I refuse to wear season appropriate colors, this is a year round polish for me, and it will be worn lots!
