Glitzology Bad Santa Collection: Stuck In The Chimney

Hello Lovelies! Happy Wednesday! I've been busier than ever with swatching polish. I'm loving it! I even found some time to sneak in a little stamping (which you'll see in my next post). As much as I loved doing more freehand nail art, I really missed stamping.

Today I have Stuck In The Chimney from Glitzology's Bad Santa Collection. I came across Glitzology while browing Etsy a couple weeks ago, and picked up a few polishes to share with you. I've been on the hunt for unique polish, and Glitzology has some pretty awesome unique polishes.

Stuck In The Chimney is a blend of Red, White, and Green Matte shard, hexes, bars, and square glitters in a Gunmetal Gray Base. I've seen alot of bloggers use a gray base for red, white, and green xmas glitters, and seeing a polish that combined that really intrigued me.

All photos are 1 coat of Stuck In The Chimney over L'oreal Sroke of Midnight. I chose to wear matching undies with this polish since I was worried that the base color would wash out the glitters.

This polish has so much going on that my camera kept freaking out! I do love it though. Normally I'm not drawn to this mix of colors, but something about this polish pulled me in. Awesome!

Formula:
I found SITC to be a little on the thick side, and since I was layering it, I added a few drops of thinner. Had I been wearing it on its own, I don't think the thickness would have been an issue. SITC is also jam packed with glitter, so no fishing here!

Application:
Stuck In The Chimney applied nice and smooth, and the glitter went on evenly. No hand placing glitters either. The base color did wash out the glitter a teeny tiny bit, but not enough to make a real difference. I think the effect is actually pretty unique. The bar glitters are abundant, and they did want to push down below my cuticle line, but that was really my only issue. And really, more glitter isn't an actual issue!

I dig this polsh a lot more than I thought I would. The mix of the Xmas colored glitter and the gray base makes for a really awesome holiday polish. Funny thing - the shiny silver mixed with the Xmas glitters really remind me of Xmas with my family. My niece has a habit of wrapping gifts in layer upon layer of shiny silver duct tape with Xmas bows on top! Makes this polish kind of like my family Xmas in a bottle. :)

Glitology polish can be found at their shop on Etsy (make with the clicky!), or by visiting http://www.etsy.com/shop/glitzologybeauty. All glitzology polishes are 3 free and include 4 mixing beads to ensure your polish is mixed well. Now through Friday, full sized bottles are only $5.00!!! Head on over and check them out! Tons of awesome glittah!

I have a ton of posts lined up for this week, so be sure to check back. I have more Glitzology, Twenty Seven, Polsh TBH, and A England coming up!

Thanks for stopping by and Happy Polishing!
