A England Order of The Garter for World Diabetes Day

Hello lovelies! Today is World Diabetes Day and a bunch of us are sporting blue manis to show our support. I've know so many people with both Type I and Type II Diabetes and both are difficult to live with. It may not always show on the outside, but so many people struggle with this disease.  For my blue mani, I chose A England Order of The Garter from The Legends Collection.

The Most Noble Order of the Garter, founded in 1348, is the highest order of chivalry existing in England and is dedicated to the image and arms of St. George as England's patron saint. 

 A England's Order of The Garter is a stunning Cerulean Blue saturated with blue shimmer that glows from within. This polish may not look it on the surface, but it is a marvelously complex mix of colors.  In most light, it shines a true Cerulean Blue, yet in lower light it deepens to a sparkling Royal Blue. The shimmer in OOTG seems to be a matching shade of blue on the surface, however if you look closely you can see sparks of pink and purple interspersed with the blue shimmer. I took some shots with my Easy Macro (that I won in Nicole's Giveaway) so you can see the shimmer close-up. Order of The Garter is truly the perfect Tribute to the Order.

*Swoon* I am so very in love with this polish. As many of you know, Blue is my very favorite color to wear on my nails, and Order of The Garter is the blue of my dreams. I own so many blues that it's almost terrifying, however this is very unique to my stash. The color, depth, and shine is unsurpassed. Adina, although always impressive, really wowed me with this girl!

Formula:
Order of The Garter has the signature A England formula - thicker than other polish, yet not too thick to work with and never gloppy or gooey. I did not experience any thickening during use, even where I wipe the brush against the inside neck of the bottle.

Application:
This baby applied like a dream! Smooth and silky, Order of The Garter almost applies itself. No running, glopping, dragging or balding with this girl. She is a bit sheer on the full coat, but builds to perfect opacity with the second coat. I'm wearing 2 coats topped with SV here.

Order of The Garter is a must have for those of us that adore Blues. Blue is not a very unique color in the polish world, yet Adina has managed to create a unique, eye-catching masterpiece. Let's face it, Adina is a Nail Polish Genius. Obviously I am a huge fan!
