Nabi Velvet II

Good morning lovelies! It's Friday!! I'll have a Flakie Friday post up in a bit, but until then I wanted to show this really pretty purple.

Nabi Velvet II is another polish that I received from MyWholesaleFashion.com. It's a really pretty shimmery purple and I was surprised at how much I love it! I have some Nabi polishes and just like the Kleancolors that I bought outside of MyWholesaleFashion.com the formula was really thick and hard to work with. I should've known the formula on the Nabi's would be perfect as well since every polish I have received from MyWholesaleFashion.com has been wonderful. I had mentioned this in an email to them (I was that happy that Kleancolor and Nabi doesn't actually have a thick, hard to work  with formula) and learned that MyWholesaleFashion.com receives new shipments weekly so their polishes haven't been sitting around forever thickening up! I love Kleancolor and Nabi colors, and these bottles I received from MyWholesaleFashion.com really restored my love of the brands.

They've also recently added Profusion - although I've never tried that brand myself.  I'm a big fan of this idea since I love doing giveaways and giving polish as gifts. I also love having backups of my fave colors and at MyWholesaleFashion.com I can grab 6 of my fave color for less than the price of a single bottle elsewhere. They also carry a few collections from Kleancolor and Nabi, and they have some really cool jewelry, makeup and fashion accessories. Right now I am really digging this Turtle Ring (it's so cute!) and this iPhone case (I love that kitty!!)

But right now, let's take a look at Nabi Velvet II, shall we? All photos are 2 coats of Velvet II topped with HK Girl top coat:

 

I really love this purple! So much so that I couldn't bring myself to over it up with nail art like I had planned.

Formula:
Superb! Unlike my drugstore Nabi's, Velvet II wasn't goopy, thick, and did not need a single drop of thinner.

Application:
Smooth and silky, Velvet II glides onto the nail like butter. No dragging, balding or gooping, and easy to control.

I have zero complaints about this polish and my faith in Nabi as a brand has been restored!
