Today I have another Fergie polish to share with you. This is a lovely neon green with golden shimmer called Glowstick. The name really is fitting! The golden shimmer shines from within the green creating a bit of a glowstick effect. I've been really into greens lately (even though neons and lighter greens aren't all that flattering on me - kinda makes my skin look slightly jaundiced), so when I picked this up I could not wait to try it out!
I tried to capture the glowiness of this girl, and I think I managed to give a decent idea of what it looks like IRL. (I did have to shoot in lower light than usual since my daylight lamp washed out the shimmer, so I apologize for the wonky skin tone.) This is one that you really have to try on your own, though! 3 coats Glowstick
1 coat Seche Vite
Isn't Glowstick flippin' fabulous!?! Love, love, love it! I had planned to show Tonight's Gonna Be A Good Night (the black glitter from this collection) over Glowstick, but I couldn't bring myself to cover the shimmer.
Formula & Application:
So far these polishes aren't too shabby. For a neon, this girl was way less problematic than I expected. A bit streak at first, but she evened out nicely. I used 3 coats for full opacity, but you could get away with 2 well applied coats. Glowstick doesn't dry to a full satin type finish like alot of neons, but I do recommend topcoat for ultra shiny/glowy goodness!
