Sally Hansen Lustre Shine: Firefly *Pic Heavy!*

Hello Ladies! It's Monday, and since Monday's can be blah, I have a gorgeous polish to share with you today!

Today I have Sally Hansen Lustre Shine in Firefly. I have to tell you guys, when I first saw the bottle IRL, I was not impressed. The duochrome wasn't all that apparent, and I was afraid this was going to turn out to be just a shimmery bronze. How wrong I was! This girl has a gorgeous color shift, from bronze to a golden mauve, to gold, to a yellowy gold, and finally to a soft glowy green. It really is a stunning polish and I'm happy that I didn't pass on it.

Again, this baby was layered over black since it brings out the multichrome shift so very well. I do use Seche Vite on these ( I know they can look slightly Matte in some shots but I think that's either my lighting or the duochrome particles), but they're actually very shiny on their own. Dry time isn't all that fast though, so I do recommend a quick dry topcoat if you're impatient like me. ;)

There are a lot of pics, since I really wanted to show the color shift at different angles and with different lighting, so bear with me here! Also, ignore my index finger. I managed to whack it. Again. As usual. I swear my polish table just reaches out and bites me. At least it was close to dry this time!

Isn't she lovely? I'm so glad that I didn't pass on this one! The color shift is gorgeous and translates IRL as well. Love!

Formula:
For some reason Firefly had the smoothest formula so far. Not too thin, Not too thick, this girl was just right. I didn't have the glopping around the bottle neck issue with this color, which made me a happy girl.

Application:
No application issues here as well. I did have some bubbling, but that was actually due to my black polish being thickened up and I just happened to be out of thinner. Boo!

Overall Firefly was a dream to apply, and I still have it on since it's just too pretty to remove.

Now that we've added another color to the mix, which of the Lustre Shines will you be picking up?

Thanks for stopping by and Happy Polishing! I'll be back soon with swatches of Copperhead and tomorrow's challenge!
