Hello Lovelies! Phew! I have been struggling with this evil router all morning (and last night), and finally managed to get the connection up and running again. I don't know about you, but I always feel kind of lost when my internet acts up. It's amazing just how much we rely on technology, huh? I'm also bummed since that index nail that has the crack in it? Yeah, lost more length due that horrid beast last night. Now that it's hitting the free edge, the patches just aren't holding. Meh and blah. I don't mind shorties, but I want my length back already! Thankfully my left hand is at the point where I'm just letting those nails grow without messing with them, save for shaping. Hopefully I'll ba back to swatching on that hand within 1-2 weeks.
Today I have another stunner from Luscious Potion to share with you. I have to be honest - I am really loving Luscious Potion right now. Susan, the genius behind LP, is fairly new to the Indie Polish game but has really put out some impressive polish with her first 2 collections. I cannot wait to show you her awesome thermals, but you know how much I adore glitter, so I must wear those first!
Today's beauty is Innocent Snow, from Susan's first collection. This collection is Disney Inspired and manages to capture the feel of the selected Disney films wonderfully. Innocent Snow is obviously inspired by Snow White, and truly invokes images of Snow White flitting about the forest with all her animal friends (and the dwarves!). This girl is a vibrant and stunning mix of Cobalt Blue, Bright Apple Red, and Soft White square glitters with small yellow circle glitters in a clear base. I chose to layer Innocent Snow over Rimmel Blue Eyed Girl, a highly pigmented blue creme.
This is 1 coat of Innocent Snow over Blue Eyed Girl, with top coat:
I LOVE THIS! I mean, how can you not love a Snow White based polish?
Innocent Snow's formula is superb. The base is lovely and thick, which always helps to carry those glitters, yet not too thick to work with. Application was a breeze, with the glitters dispersing nicely across the nail and laying flat. In fact, this applied so well that I did not need any clean up - no stray glitters at the free edge or on my skin. I applied this glitter with normal brush strokes - no need to dab this one. Dry time was fast and wear is excellent! I'm actually still wearing this pretty and have no lifting glitters at all.
There are so many new indies on the market right now that it's kind of hard to tell what is great and what is just okay....but let me tell ya - Luscious Potion is quality. The polishes from this brand that I have tried so far have been from Susan's very first collection and they are incredibly impressive. I can't wait to share the second collection since they can only get better!
You can check out Luscious Potion at Big Cartel. Full size polishes sell for $8, save for thermals which will run you $10 each. You can also grab the entire Disney Collection for $25.00. You can also follow Luscious Potion on Instagram (@LusciousPotion) for updates on sales, new releases, and swatches.
What do you think of Innocent Snow? Are you a Snow White fan?
I'll have more from this awesome brand coming up, as well as some pretties from Delush Polish, Fandom Cosmetics, Polish TBH and more, so stick around!
Thanks for stopping by and Happy Polishing!
