31 day challenge day 8, Metallic Nails!

I had a really hard time narrowing this one down, guys. I had orginally planned on using one of my foils for this challenge, but my hubs pointed out that one of my other unworns had a pretty metallic finish and was just a lovely color. So I sided with the hubs, and day 8 was born!

I chose Orly's Rock The world for my metallic nails. I picked this baby up at Sally's awhile back and she has been sitting in my stash all lonely and unloved. After wearing her today, I wish I would've given her a chance sooner! Rock The World is from Orly's Mineral FX collection, and is a stunning pinkish/plum polish with tons of gold glass fleck. Seriously, there is so much gold in her that the base color ends up forgotten, and the final product looks like a golden bronze metallic gem. I'm in love! Just look at this baby!

Just gorgeous, right? Another color I'll be wearing more often! Formula was almost perfect. I say almost because it did start to get a little gloppy right as I finished my last nail. Other than that, it was perfection. 2 coats for opacity, no bubbling or streaking, and even without top coat, it shines like a diamond.

Speaking of things I need to do more often, I need to post more often! I was going through my mani folder on the macbook and I have a to of manis I haven't posted! Jeeze. See how much I slack when I'm not doing a challenge?
